15 year old mare, we are not sure on her breeding
but we think she may be a QH/Arab cross. She is about 14.2 hh, solid chestnut. Healthy and sound with great feet! doesn’t
need shoes on the trail (must be the Arab side of her!)
Cinnamon is a great trail horse, not spooky and has
tons of endurance but not a speed demon. She is responsive to her rider and understands all her aids. Neck rein or direct
rein her, doesn’t matter. She has a great whoa and a trot you could drink tea on. She has a natural headset and collects
nicely in the arena. With a little bit of conditioning this horse could do just about anything.
Cinnamon is a packer on the trail, she is ok with
any obstacle be water or bridges, great with other horses and is not barn sour. Knows how to side pass over to the gate and
will stand quietly when told to. She has had guns shot off her and has been fine with that so she maybe a good hunting mount.
Sometimes Cinnamon can be a little pushy on the ground. If you let her she will walk ahead of you and paw while tied. She
is currently getting “ground manner refreshment” training and has improved greatly just in a few week’s
time. For this reason only, she needs to go to a confident person that will not let her get away with things. She is
only pushy on the ground and has never shown any bad habits under saddle. She is a really easy and fun horse to ride. Currently
ridden in a D ring snaffle, that is all she needs. Cinnamon is fine in the trailer and has no vices. She is being sold sound
and current on all shots and feet.
